1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how iTools Advisory & Technology Pty Ltd, trading as AGENTIQ Security (ABN 67 648 999 731), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Fuel Security Intelligence Dashboard ("Dashboard"). We are bound by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Automatically Collected Data

When you access the Dashboard, the following information may be collected automatically:

• IP address and approximate geographic location
• Browser type, version, and operating system
• Pages visited, time spent, and navigation paths
• Referring website or source
• Device type and screen resolution

This data is collected via Google Analytics and is used solely to understand usage patterns and improve the Dashboard.

2.2 Subscriber Information (Email)

If you subscribe to our intelligence reports, we collect:

• Email address — provided voluntarily through our subscription form
• Subscription status — pending, verified, or unsubscribed
• Subscription date — the date you confirmed your subscription

We use a double opt-in process: after submitting your email, you must confirm via a verification code sent to your email address. Your subscription is not active until you complete this step.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment information, or any other personal identifiers beyond your email address.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

The Dashboard does not:

• Require user registration or login for Dashboard access
• Collect names, phone numbers, or physical addresses from subscribers
• Process payment information
• Use user-generated content or comment systems

3. How We Use Information

3.1 Analytics Data

Automatically collected analytics data is used to:

• Monitor Dashboard performance and availability
• Understand aggregate usage patterns
• Improve Dashboard functionality and content

3.2 Subscriber Email Addresses

Subscriber email addresses are used solely to:

• Send verification codes during the subscription process
• Deliver periodic fuel security intelligence reports
• Send service-related notices (e.g., changes to the report format or frequency)

We do not use subscriber emails for advertising, marketing of third-party products, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the intelligence reports you subscribed to. We will never sell, rent, or trade your email address to any third party.

These services may process data outside Australia, including in the United States. By using the Dashboard or subscribing to reports, you consent to this transfer. Each provider maintains their own privacy practices as linked above.

5. Data Retention

5.1 Analytics Data

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months (the default retention period).

5.2 Subscriber Data

Subscriber email addresses and related data are retained as follows:

• Active subscribers — retained for as long as your subscription is active
• Unsubscribed users — email address retained in anonymised/hashed form for 90 days to prevent accidental re-subscription, then permanently deleted
• Unverified submissions — pending subscriptions that are not verified within 7 days are automatically purged

6. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• Request access to any personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Make a complaint about how we handle your information

6.1 Unsubscribing

Every intelligence report email includes an unsubscribe link. You may unsubscribe at any time. Upon unsubscribing, we will cease all email communications and your data will be handled per Section 5.2 above.

6.2 Data Deletion

To request complete deletion of your subscriber data, contact us at admin@itools.net.au. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6.3 Dashboard Visitors

If you only visit the Dashboard without subscribing, we hold only anonymous analytics data and are unlikely to hold identifiable personal information about you.

7. Data Security

The Dashboard is hosted on GitHub Pages with HTTPS encryption. While we take reasonable steps to protect data, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Dashboard is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The effective date above indicates the latest revision.
